Role Responsibilities:

As a key member of our self-organized team, you will engage in agile cost engineering and benchmarking activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively participating in the early innovation stages to establish target costs for purchased components and assess the value addition of Power Electronics products.
  • Developing optimal solutions and cost structures for processes and products, independent of specific plants or suppliers, while providing actionable recommendations to management, production, and procurement teams.
  • Enhancing processes and methodologies for cost structure analysis, focusing on innovative manufacturing technologies and development trends. You will identify cost drivers, analyze discrepancies, and propose measures to meet financial objectives.

Collaboration:

Engage in active collaboration with R&D teams to foster idea generation and implement effective measures. You will also:

  • Support the assessment of design alternatives and conduct functional cost analyses.
  • Integrate benchmark findings from competitor products early in the design process, presenting your insights to clients and during supplier negotiations.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A responsible, cost-conscious, and persuasive demeanor.
  • A goal-oriented, proactive, and analytical approach to work.
  • Experience in R&D, application, product development, or production within the Power Electronics domain, along with familiarity in collaborating with procurement and supply chain partners.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in both English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, is essential.


Educational Background:

A completed university degree, preferably in engineering, is required.
