Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of our self-organized team, you will take charge of agile cost engineering and benchmarking. Your role will involve:
  • Engaging from the initial innovation stages to establish target costs for procured components and the value addition of Power Electronics products.
  • Creating solutions and optimizing process and product costs irrespective of manufacturing location or supplier, while providing actionable recommendations to management, production facilities, and procurement teams.
  • Advancing processes and methodologies for cost structure analysis, focusing on innovative manufacturing technologies and emerging trends, identifying cost drivers, and analyzing variances to implement necessary measures for goal attainment.

Collaboration:
Foster active collaboration with R&D teams to generate innovative ideas and implement effective measures. You will:
  • Assist in evaluating design alternatives and conducting functional cost analyses.
  • Integrate benchmark results from competitor products early in the process and effectively communicate your findings to clients and during negotiations with suppliers.

Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate who is:
  • Responsible, cost-aware, persuasive, and assertive.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and analytical in their working approach.

Experience:
Ideal candidates will possess experience in R&D, application, product development, or manufacturing within the Power Electronics sector, along with a strong background in collaboration with procurement and supply chain partners.

Language Proficiency:
Fluency in both English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, is essential.

Educational Background:
A completed university degree, preferably in engineering, is required.
