Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at JO Restaurant Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Preparation and Execution: Develop and implement menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior cooks, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and inspect products, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Communication: Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely food delivery and exceptional customer service.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in high-end food preparation, with a strong background in classic and modern cooking techniques.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and customers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
