Deans' Office Administrative Associate

The SoPMFT Deans' Office seeks an experienced Administrative and Operations Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support for the Dean and Associate Dean. This role will require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
About the Position
This is a part-time, 20 hours/week position based on the Pasadena campus. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, resourceful, and creative individual who can lead and train students, coordinate meetings and events, and maintain complex databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support for the Deans' office, including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and composing written documentation.
- Coordinates faculty meetings and special events, including planning, organization, and execution.
- Maintains records of annual cycles of events related to the Dean's and Associate Dean's positions.
- Assists with data compilation and communication to affiliate faculty.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Ability to hold and manage confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Knowledge of current and emerging trends of technologies, techniques, issues, and approaches in area of expertise.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $22-$26 per hour USD. Additional benefits include a hybrid work schedule, professional development opportunities, and a dynamic team environment.
