Position Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, the successful candidate will serve as a Scrum Master across multiple Agile teams within an Agile Release Train (ART). Your collaboration will be essential in guiding the organization towards enhanced agile maturity and overall business agility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate essential team ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives, ensuring full participation and engagement from all team members.
  • Work closely with Product Owner(s) and teams to assist in both short-term and long-term planning, while maintaining a well-organized backlog ready for execution.
  • Protect the teams from external disruptions to maximize their efficiency and productivity.
  • Engage with teams to identify their needs; plan and deliver coaching and training aligned with the organizational strategy.
  • Enhance the understanding and skills related to Agile practices and values by actively mentoring team members on a growth mindset and advancing current Agile adoption.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity; guide teams in conducting regular improvement activities.
  • Proactively identify and address obstacles to team progress and manage interdependencies among agile teams.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to various roles within the organization (directors, managers, product owners, team members) that interact with the team.
  • Regularly evaluate Agile maturity and coach teams towards higher levels of growth, collaborating with peers to enhance portfolio maturity.
  • Utilize data, observations, and analytical skills to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in team dynamics and delivery, propose solutions, and share knowledge and best practices across teams.
  • Embrace the philosophy of continuous learning in your own development and inspire the same in the teams you mentor.
  • Actively seek coaching and mentorship from more experienced Scrum Masters and coaches on Lean-Agile methodologies and mindsets.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in guiding agile teams through the complexities of agile transformation.

Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and Agile project management methodologies.

Exhibits strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team-building capabilities.

Advanced skills in presentation, influence, and relationship management.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with a minimum of five years of experience as a Scrum Master.

Agile certification is preferred.

Strong project and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and oversee multiple projects in a cross-functional setting.

Comprehensive understanding of business functions and a deep knowledge of business operations, strategies, and objectives.
