Job Description

As a Main Banker, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Vault. Your duties will include maintaining tracking of coin and currency for Cage, Vaults on approved logs, counting and verifying all cash/coin/ticket transactions in all Cage areas, and assisting Cage Supervisor with all transactions within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate levels of coin/currency in the Cashiers' Cage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests.
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ensure floor locations are adequately impressed (automated Currency Transaction Kiosks and automated Jackpot machines).
  • Verify coin shipments and currency bank deposits are prepared accurately and timely.
  • Ensure contents of the vault are organized so they can be readily counted at shift change.
  • Prepare and complete all job-related paperwork, including cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summary sheets, check disbursements for jackpot payout, and other value items.
  • Complete currency transaction reports as required by law.
  • Reconcile inventories at end of assigned shift, including F&B cashier, coin cashier, HRM attendant, and others.
  • Forward end of shift and end of day paperwork to accounting for review and retention, and respond promptly and accurately to all inquiries from accounting.
  • Reconcile automated jackpot machines as required.
  • Safeguard assigned cash drawer and Casino assets.
  • Count and verify all transactions in Cage at beginning and end of shift.
  • Make change and exchange tickets/change for cash.
  • Maintain jet sort equipment by clearing coin jams and changing coin bags.
  • Maintain accurate cage cash transmittal forms and other paperwork.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Casino Operations data.
  • Prepare and complete all job-related paperwork, including cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summary sheets, over/short vouchers, and other value items.
  • Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
  • Be available to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.
  • Be available for regularly scheduled work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:

In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
  • Obtain and retain required license(s).
  • Perform duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department.
  • Have knowledge of the Property's programs to address problem gaming.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

Education, Training, and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma.
  • At least two years of experience as a cashier or bank teller.
  • Proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License. Valid Driver's License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
