Position Overview:

The Land Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the Land Acquisitions and Development teams with the management of entitlement and development procedures within the Land Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the executive leadership team regarding land department activities.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain land contracts, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and tracked.
  • Deliver exceptional internal customer service to various stakeholders.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new vendors, including insurance and tax documentation.
  • Receive, distribute, and archive all departmental documents, both in hard copy and electronic formats, related to ongoing projects and properties under evaluation.
  • Maintain updated electronic budgets, incorporating contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Distribute vendor packages and verify compliance before forwarding to accounting for approval.
  • Collaborate with accounting to facilitate vendor approvals and ACH payment setups.
  • Input land department invoices into development budgets, ensuring accuracy.
  • Enter both existing and new contracts into the project management system.
  • Organize and maintain all land department documentation, including invoices and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting land acquisition, development, or homebuilding activities.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and appropriate auto insurance coverage.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling, and data management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex situations.

Work Environment:

This role involves daily interactions with various personnel across divisions, external agencies, business partners, consultants, and homeowners.
