Job Title: B2B Sales Representative

Ascend Learning is a leading provider of data-driven, online educational solutions for learners, educators, and employers in high-growth industries. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven B2B Sales Representative to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing business-to-business relationships to drive revenue and growth for our company. This role requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trust with key decision-makers in the business world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential B2B clients within the target market, including industries, companies, and key decision-makers.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within client organizations.
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth needs assessments with clients to understand their challenges, goals, and pain points.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products or services, including their features, benefits, and applications in various industries.
  • Customized Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and solutions that align with the client's requirements.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our products or services.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with clients.
  • Account Management: Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and methodologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical or business concepts
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
