Associate Attorney - Business Law

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload, providing legal counsel to clients across multiple areas of business law.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform legal strategies, negotiations, and litigation.
  • Draft a range of legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence for diverse audiences.
  • Adapt to changing priorities to meet critical deadlines.
  • Participate in client meetings, depositions, and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.
  • Deliver outstanding client service.
  • Engage in local networking initiatives to enhance firm visibility and create business opportunities.
  • Stay informed about legal developments and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated in the top 20% of law school class.
  • Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in Idaho and Washington, or able to obtain licensure promptly.
  • No disciplinary history with any state bar.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in business law.
  • Litigation experience is preferred.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.
