Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Staples, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products within our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse.
  • Verify the accuracy of product quantities and descriptions to ensure proper inventory management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to resolve issues and clarify discrepancies.
  • Participate in the receiving, putaway, and returns process to ensure timely and accurate processing of products.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) months of related experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
  • Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
  • Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers.
