About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Academic Recruiter to join our team at Harvard University. As a key member of our Office of Academic Affairs, you will play a critical role in supporting the school's academic recruitment activities.

Salary: $64,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this position, you will be responsible for executing administrative logistics related to the confidential faculty and academic appointments processes, specifically the faculty review process. This includes maintaining faculty hiring and review systems, preparing online dossiers, and coordinating access to candidate materials for external evaluators.

You will also serve as the principal administrative contact and liaison for the HDS faculty search and review process, including planning and executing search and review committee meetings and candidate visits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related administrative experience, education beyond high school may count towards experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Zoom, Adobe Acrobat and other systems experience are necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal/written), events organizing, attention to detail and customer service skills.
