Job Summary
The University of Vermont Medical Center seeks a skilled and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our Medical/Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide supportive care to patients under the direction and supervision of our Registered Nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out specific tasks and procedures as designated by the Registered Nurse in accordance with hospital policy and established job functions.
- Cooperate with nursing staff in meeting the needs and/or wants of patients by performing tasks for which the employee has been prepared.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent experience.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont - unrestricted.
