Job Description

We have per diem opportunities for Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) on all three of our nursing units within our Skilled Nursing Facility.

Job Summary

The LNA plays a critical role in providing direct and indirect patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs monitoring, patient mobility, and maintaining patient hygiene.
  • Work under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Requirements

LNA, licensed in Vermont.

The Memory Care Unit is designed to meet the changing needs of individuals as they experience the progression of symptoms and increases in cognitive loss associated with a diagnosis of dementia.

Post Acute Care

The goal of the Post Acute Unit at Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing is to provide supportive, goal-directed care following surgery and/or hospitalization.
