Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Associate for Energy Project Management to oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring reliable and cost-effective infrastructure for our expanding portfolio of data center locations. In this pivotal role, you will facilitate the delivery of our power infrastructure solutions by collaborating with leading utility partners to energize essential projects within established timelines and budgets, while also aligning with our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project integration and energization for utility-owned scopes in support of a rapidly expanding portfolio of hyperscale data center initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with multiple utilities and contractors to ensure successful delivery of power infrastructure.
  • Negotiate and execute project agreements with utility partners.
  • Collaborate with clients to achieve energy-related sustainability objectives through the implementation of renewable technologies.
  • Facilitate communication and deliverables between utility partners and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering or construction management) or a minimum of five years of project management experience in the data center or energy sector.
  • At least three years of technical experience in power infrastructure projects (five years preferred).
  • Preferred certification: Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Technical expertise in transmission and distribution infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, and operations.
  • Familiarity with US energy systems and interconnection grids is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with MS Project is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
