Overview:

These advancements are not only aimed at enhancing environmental health but also present sound business opportunities for utilities, developers, and investors.

Role Summary:
As a Project Manager within Leidos' Energy & Infrastructure Consulting Practice, you will play a vital role in these transformative projects, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to global sustainability efforts. You will report to a Managing Director in Power Transaction Services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of industry experts to deliver consulting services that are essential for client decision-making.
- Engage regularly with project developers, utilities, equipment manufacturers, engineering firms, investors, bankers, and legal and financial advisors.
- Assess a diverse range of technologies, including renewable energy sources like wind and solar, as well as energy storage solutions and advanced fuel technologies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, facing new challenges daily while working alongside some of the industry's top consultants.
- Take charge of project economics, including cost management, operational budgets, staffing, subcontractor coordination, and risk assessment.
- Plan, schedule, and report on project activities, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Facilitate status meetings with project teams and clients to ensure transparency and progress.
- Collaborate with senior management on project proposals, bids, contracts, and schedules.
- Coach and guide cross-functional team members to achieve project goals and resolve any technical or operational challenges.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with over 12 years of experience in various engineering and consulting roles.
- Expertise in energy consulting, particularly in evaluating distributed generation, combined heat and power systems, and renewable energy projects.
- Familiarity with commercial risk assessment in construction and operational contracts.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- MBA or equivalent experience.
- Bilingual capabilities, particularly in Spanish.
- Strong technical writing skills.
