Job Overview

Graham Technologies is seeking a skilled Applications Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in researching and developing information systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Research and Analysis: Gather relevant information to contribute to the development or modification of information systems.
  • Prepare Detailed Specifications: Assist in preparing detailed specifications that serve as a foundation for the development of programs.
  • Analyze System Logic: Analyze existing system logic, identify difficulties, and recommend revisions as necessary to enhance system efficiency and functionality.
  • Maintain System Documentation: Maintain and update system documentation to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Identify and Resolve System-Related Issues: Participate in identifying and resolving system-related issues, applying problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
  • Utilize CASE Tools: Leverage Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools, as appropriate, to enhance the efficiency and quality of the development process.
  • Ensure Adherence to Organizational Standards: Ensure adherence to organizational standards, policies, and procedures throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Less than five (5) years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Familiarity with information systems, programming languages, and development methodologies.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Ability to analyze system logic, identify issues, and propose effective solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CASE Tool Familiarity: Basic understanding of CASE tools.
