Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Evaluation and Enhancement:
    • Assess existing systems to uncover areas for improvement and optimization.

  2. Requirements Analysis:
    • Dissect and simplify complex requirements into manageable parts.

  3. Functional Specifications and Design:

  5. Quality Assurance and Validation:
    • Confirm the functionality of end-products to ensure alignment with defined requirements.

  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Generate technical user manuals, system configuration documents, and other technical reports.

Qualifications:

  • At least five (5) years of experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in system analysis, functional design, and requirements breakdown.
  • Strong capability to perform gap analysis and recommend viable solutions.
  • Experience in creating functional specifications, wireframes, and flowcharts.
  • Familiarity with change management and configuration management practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in technical documentation and report generation.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BVA or VBMS
  • Familiarity with VACOLS application, Disability Appeals Claim, or Court Management System
  • Knowledge of BPMN and JIRA/Agile methodologies

Work Environment: This is a hybrid role that combines remote work with occasional meetings.
