Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary service contact for an assigned book of business, fostering strong working relationships with clients and carriers. Key responsibilities include implementing new client launches, developing and executing service schedules, and coordinating with clients and carriers to meet project timelines and communicate program specifics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new client launches, including carrier involvement, communications campaigns, and employee correspondence.
  • Develop and execute service schedules, participate in reporting, and coordinate with clients and carriers.
  • Meet with clients, either alone or in conjunction with Account Executives or Unit Leaders, according to standardized client meeting schedules.
  • Conduct marketing efforts as assigned by the unit.
  • Review agreements and documents, such as employee booklets and carrier contracts.
  • Explain new benefit offerings and communication strategies to existing clients.
  • Develop prospective client proposals.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience in the insurance industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in the employee benefits area.
  • Demonstrated professional negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products or similar software applications.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills, including preparation and execution.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to develop sound relationships with multiple clients.
  • Ability to interact with vendors effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of financial arrangements and products available to clients.
