Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk team at our Wyndham property in Warner Robins. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel front desk operations and management, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop front desk staff to ensure excellent guest service and high-quality operations
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Housekeeping and Maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Manage front desk operations, including cash handling, check-cashing, and credit policies
  • Ensure front desk staff is dressed appropriately for all shifts and adheres to hotel policies and procedures
  • Operate the front desk computer system, including software maintenance, report generation, and analysis
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Handle VIP guests and special requests
  • Review front office log books and guest feedback forms daily
  • Manage Expedia and OTA bookings, as well as handle chargebacks
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements
  • At least two years of hotel front desk experience, with at least one year in a managerial capacity
  • Knowledge of Synexis and ability to work cohesively with other departments
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Available to work all shifts, with a focus on alternating first and second shifts
  • Must live locally and have reliable transportation
