Director of Growth

Boy Smells is a pioneering fragrance brand that challenges traditional gender norms in the industry. With a focus on innovation and playfulness, the company offers a diverse range of products, including perfumes and candles. As a multimillion-dollar ecommerce business, Boy Smells is expanding its retail presence, with over 750 stores in the US.

The Head of Growth will lead the newly created Growth team, responsible for ecommerce revenue. This role requires a data-driven approach to grow paid channels and hit wider acquisition goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of media buying, creative strategy, and onsite merchandising and conversion rate optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive growth strategy across paid and organic channels, creative, and site design to achieve ecommerce revenue goals.
  • Scale paid channels by owning the testing roadmap to drive sustained acquisition through paid channels.
  • Drive customer loyalty by developing a CRM strategy across email and SMS to maximize recurring revenue.
  • Enhance website performance by optimizing the site to maximize conversion and upsell opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor channel managers and designers to effectively execute the growth strategy.
  • Secure resources by making compelling business cases to secure the necessary resources for strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of growth marketing experience with a strong understanding of performance marketing metrics.
  • Experience owning growth strategy, including creative and landing page strategy.
  • Proven track record of driving scale and revenue at ecommerce companies.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bias towards innovation and experience translating abstract ideas into concrete tests.
