Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider - School-Based Health Center

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at the Wellness Equity Alliance LLC. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to students in our school-based health centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services to students, including physical examinations, preventive health measures, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Collaborate with school staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Participate in health education and promotion activities to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Unexpired, unrestricted license to practice as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in the State of New Mexico.
  • Strong experience working with pediatrics and adolescent medicine, preferably in a school-based health center setting.
  • Demonstrated history of experience successfully working with diverse cultural backgrounds in a healthcare capacity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of pediatrics and family medicine practices.
  • Experience with school-based health centers and community health programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of infectious diseases treatment and prevention.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competence in the field of substance use disorders and mental health.
