Job Summary

The Cibola General Hospital is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner - APRN Mid-Level Provider to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans, and ensuring the maintenance of accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Patient Assessment and Care
    Examine patients, record medical histories, and provide accurate diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up care.
  2. Charting and Documentation
    Adhere to proper charting protocols and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  3. Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals
    Discuss patient care with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  4. Diagnostic Testing and Treatment
    Order or execute tests and images as needed, administer or prescribe treatment and medications, and analyze test results to diagnose and report to patients.
  5. Health Education and Promotion
    Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention, and promote overall health and well-being.
Requirements
  1. Education and Licensure
    Must have and maintain a current State of New Mexico license in good standing and current National Board Certification.
  2. DEA Certification
    Must have and maintain current DEA certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Electronic Medical Records Experience
    Prior experience using an electronic medical records system is preferred.
  2. Bilingualism
    Bilingualism in English and Spanish is a preferred skill, but not required.
Reporting and Supervision

Reports to the Clinic Administrator/Chief of Staff.
