Job Title: Advanced Practice Nurse - Behavioral Health Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team as a consultant. The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric care and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe and distribute medications, including controlled substances
- Perform patient history and physical exams as needed
- Document patient care and communicate with other healthcare team members
- Provide education to patients and families on preventative care and medical issues
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Advanced Practice Nurse License (CNP, CNS, CRNA)
- 1 year of psychiatric experience
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions independently. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and communicate effectively with patients and families.
