Nurse Care Provider

UNM Hospitals is a leading healthcare provider participating in the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) that offers increasing compensation and career growth opportunities for nurses. As a Nurse Care Provider, you will work towards one of five CAP levels, potentially earning up to $8.00 in addition to base pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care to patients as required, working within the nursing process and adhering to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Provide clinical leadership and assume relief charge duties when designated, promoting a positive work environment and quality patient care.
- Work in collaboration with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
- Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel after successful completion of preceptor training.
Benefits:
- Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement available.
- 17% weekday nights, 26% weekend nights, or 15% weekend day shift differentials.
Qualifications:
- Education: Program Graduate, Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate.
- Experience: No minimum experience required.
- Credentials: CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days, RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM.
Working Conditions:
- Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
Estimated Salary: The estimated salary for this position is around $75,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This estimate is based on the title, job description, and location, and does not include any additional compensation or benefits.
