Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at the Wellness Equity Alliance LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to students in our Mobile School Health Center program.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with pediatrics and adolescent medicine, with a focus on school-based health centers. You will be responsible for performing initial patient screenings, patient history, physical examinations, and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including physical examinations, screenings, and preventive health measures
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans, including treatment and referral options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Unexpired, unrestricted license to practice as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in the State of New Mexico
- Strong experience with pediatrics and adolescent medicine, with a focus on school-based health centers
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated history of experience successfully working with diverse cultural backgrounds, in a healthcare capacity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of pediatrics and family medicine practices
- Demonstrated experience with school-based health centers
- Demonstrated knowledge of infectious diseases treatment and prevention
- Demonstrated knowledge and competence in the field of substance use disorders and mental health
