Position Overview:

This position is primarily remote, with the expectation of travel within the designated regions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive field engineering risk evaluations and implement risk enhancement services for both prospective and existing accounts. While much of this work can be performed virtually, occasional travel may be necessary.
- Provide engineering expertise to underwriting teams and participate in client and broker meetings as required.
- Oversee the risk portfolio for accounts and deliver tailored engineering solutions to fulfill underwriting criteria.

Consultative Services:
- Offer advanced property and casualty advisory services to clients, pinpointing exposures with significant loss potential, analyzing the causes and effects of major losses, and evaluating the effectiveness of property/casualty management programs.
- Develop and execute customer service strategies aimed at minimizing losses and enhancing operational efficiency.

Account Management:
- Supervise property and casualty engineering services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with underwriting professionals and agents to promote Zurich's resilience solutions and risk transfer insurance products across various business segments.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in Property and Casualty Risk Engineering, or a High School Diploma with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
- Experience in High Hazard Property (HPR) and industry sectors such as manufacturing, health science, and technology.

Additional Skills:
- Proven experience in managing loss control or risk engineering for middle market or large clients across various property and casualty lines.
- Ability to coordinate safety services for clients with multiple locations and knowledge of safety management programs that mitigate workplace hazards.

Communication Skills:
- Strong communication and consultative skills focused on achieving results.
- Experience conducting safety training for diverse groups at all organizational levels.
