UW Credit Union's Internet Services development team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on iOS mobile development In this role, you will play a key part in delivering technical solutions across mobile apps, APIs, and backend processes, enabling members to seamlessly manage their financial lives. Your expertise in Swift and iOS development will be critical to maintaining and enhancing our mobile app's functionality. You will work alongside a team of skilled engineers in a collaborative, Agile environment, tackling the unique challenges of iOS development , which requires a deep understanding of the intricacies and nuances of the platform. Serve as a technical lead for mobile development projects, ensuring high quality and performance. Integrate mobile apps with internal systems and third-party services to support a robust financial services experience. Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and functionality of iOS applications. Diagnose and troubleshoot iOS-related production issues, both proactively and in response to user feedback. Ensure a high level of reliability, scalability, and maintainability of mobile apps to guarantee long-term success. Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment , continuously delivering and enhancing software solutions. Partner with business units to understand their needs and translate them into mobile software solutions. Research potential mobile solutions to improve member experiences through proof of concepts and experimentation. Qualifications Required: 4 years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on iOS mobile development . Proficiency in Swift and deep familiarity with iOS SDKs, development tools, and best practices. Experience in mobile app development and deployment processes for iOS. Strong understanding of mobile software design principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience with Agile development practices . Preferred: Experience with microservice architecture and integrating mobile apps with cloud-based systems. Familiarity with Scrum methodology and working in cross-functional Agile teams.
