Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating the protocol from inception.
  • Developing and refining systems that enhance user experience, ensure economic stability, promote decentralization, and facilitate verifiable computation.
  • Constructing models and simulations to pinpoint economic vulnerabilities, rigorously test economic frameworks, and analyze various economic indicators such as circulating supply, emission rates, reward distributions, transaction fees, etc.
  • Working alongside the engineering team to conceptualize and evaluate new incentive structures.
  • Publishing scholarly articles, reports, and blog entries on cryptoeconomic insights for the wider community.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in economics, mathematics, quantitative finance, computer science, data science, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of practical experience in economics, quantitative finance, or data science, with a focus on economics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of cryptoeconomics.
  • Proficient in data handling, analysis, and modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with data and statistical software tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB).
  • Strong economic insight and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities and a quick learning aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in economics, mathematics, quantitative finance, computer science, data science, or a related area.
  • Experience in designing incentive structures for Layer 1 or Layer 2 solutions.
  • Background in a startup setting.
  • Contributions to open-source initiatives.
