Job Title: Financial Representative

At Western & Southern Life, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Representative to join our team. As a Financial Representative, you will play a critical role in meeting the middle-income client needs for risk protection, financial security, and wealth creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop marketing plans to target middle-market clients.
  • Prospect and network for qualified clients through identification of names and initial contacts.
  • Secure appointments with prospective and existing clients for sales, conservation, and service.
  • Prepare for appointments through established processes and conduct meetings using Western & Southern Life consultative practices.
  • Effectively sell insurance and investment solutions to clients.
  • Plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities for the week and foreseeable future.
  • Develop community relationships to cultivate and strengthen presence in target markets.
  • Maintain personal contact with clients to ensure their evolving financial needs are being met.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate client and company records, payments, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship, and influence skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Ability to analyze client needs, understand financial products, and sell tailored solutions.
  • Ability to influence others to take needed action.
  • Demonstrate personal drive and resilience to achieve goals.
  • Willing and able to network for new clients.
Education and Certifications:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Obtain and hold State Life and Health license prior to hire.
  • Obtain and hold the FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.
Position Demands:
  • Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
