Key Responsibilities- Registration and Scheduling: Accurately complete patient registration, maintain accurate patient information, and proficiently schedule appointments.
- Patient Communication: Provide a consistently excellent patient experience through friendly, courteous, and welcoming interactions.
- Insurance Verification: Ensure accurate verification of patient insurance and coverages, and address any financial responsibilities with patients.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the office, including scanning, faxing, and mailing.
- Efficiency and Organization: Demonstrate efficiency through multi-tasking and organization to ensure all daily tasks are consistently completed.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1 year of office, customer service, or related experience required; medical office experience preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of insurance, specifically Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid preferred; experience working with an EHR system required; EPIC experience preferred.
This role requires a typical interior/office/clinical work environment. Flexibility to work evenings and extended hours may be required. The position involves periods of sitting, standing, telephone, and computer work. Hearing, speaking, and vision requirements are adequate to perform job duties.
