Clinical Learning Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Education Program Manager to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our education department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing learning interventions that facilitate application of learning in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities- Learning Intervention Development: Plan, design, develop, market, and implement learning interventions that facilitate application of learning in the workplace as measured by participant feedback and peer and supervisor observation.
- Presentation and Facilitation: Demonstrate effective presentation skills and provide educational programs that ensure program content is consistently relevant to target audience's job duties, based on principles of adult learners.
- Program Evaluation: Ensure that measurable learning objectives are demonstrated for all continuing educational programs and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of learning interventions/modules.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with content experts to develop curriculum scope, form partnerships with leadership teams and staff to improve performance gaps, and individualize orientee's initial orientation plan based on orientee's identified learning needs.
- Student and Learner Placement: Serve as the coordinator for student and learner placements for the various health care and allied health schools.
- Education: Required bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: Required 3 years of clinical nursing experience and/or Department of Rehabilitative Services (DARS) experience.
- Certifications: Required RN - Lic-Registered Nurses by the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact and BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association within two (2) months of entering the position and maintained thereafter.
