About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Geronimo Hospitality Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving our kitchen operations to new heights and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all kitchen activity, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of culinary professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Dining Room Manager to develop and implement menu concepts and promotions.
  • Manage kitchen budgets and control costs to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure effective communication and teamwork among kitchen staff and other departments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in culinary operations.
Requirements
  • Three plus years of restaurant experience as a Chef and Kitchen Manager or equivalent culinary education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and guests.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • ServSafe certification required.
