Your Role:

As a Culinary Team Member, you will ensure that our patrons receive the high-quality meals they expect. You will collaborate with your colleagues to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly understand the menu items, including portion sizes, cooking techniques, quality standards, and kitchen protocols; take full responsibility for the quality of the dishes served.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure consistency in every dish served.
  • Manage timing effectively to ensure all orders are completed promptly.
  • Maintain focus on assigned tasks and communicate regularly with team members.
  • Prepare your work area and assist others with their preparations as needed.
  • Keep your workstation organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Practice safe knife handling; seek guidance from the Chef if needed.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries when required.
  • Be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Properly open and close the kitchen, adhering to the checklist for kitchen stations, and assist others in closing procedures.
  • Arrive on time and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts, including mandatory meetings.
  • Adhere to all policies outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses at least one year of kitchen experience (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Demonstrates basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
  • Exhibits clear handwriting and strong customer service and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods, use hands for various tasks, and reach with arms. Frequent lifting, carrying, and delivering of items weighing up to 50 pounds is required. If over 18, you will be expected to operate slicers and heavy equipment. The work environment may be hot and demanding. Ability to navigate smoothly through dining and kitchen areas is essential, as is attendance during scheduled shifts.

Protective Gear: Non-slip shoes are required.

Additional Requirements:

Must have U.S. Work Authorization.
