Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Geronimo Hospitality Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities, including menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that align with our brand's culinary vision and standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
  • Lead and mentor a team of culinary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service and high-quality food
  • Collaborate with our General Manager and Dining Room Manager to ensure seamless service and maximize revenue
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement new ideas and techniques to enhance our culinary offerings
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
  • Culinary education or equivalent work experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and conversations
  • ServSafe certification
Physical and Mental Requirements

This role requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. You may be required to occasionally lift products weighing up to 50 pounds.
