YOUR ROLE
As a key member of our kitchen team, you will deliver the high-quality dishes our guests expect. Collaboration with your colleagues is essential to ensure a remarkable dining experience for everyone.
YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fully understand the menu items, including portion sizes, cooking techniques, quality standards, and kitchen protocols; take complete ownership of the quality of food served.
- Work closely with the Chef to ensure consistency in every dish.
- Manage timing effectively to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain focus on assigned tasks and communicate regularly with team members.
- Prepare your workstation and assist others in their preparations as needed.
- Keep your area clean and well-stocked.
- Practice safe knife handling; seek training from the Chef if necessary.
- Assist with deliveries when required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Properly open and close the kitchen, adhering to the checklist for kitchen stations. Ensure your area is inspected by a manager before leaving.
- Arrive on time and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts, including mandatory meetings.
- Adhere to all policies outlined in the employee handbook.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one year of experience in a kitchen setting (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
- Clear handwriting and strong customer service and communication abilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly stand, use hands for various tasks, and reach with arms. Frequent lifting, carrying, and delivering of items weighing up to 50 pounds. If over 18, operation of slicers and heavy equipment will be required. The work environment can be hot and demanding. Ability to navigate smoothly through dining and kitchen areas, and work various shifts during business hours. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
PROTECTIVE GEAR
Non-slip shoes are required.
WORK AUTHORIZATION
U.S. Work Authorization is required.
