VP of HR Job Description

Our rapidly growing, faith-based client is seeking a highly skilled VP of HR to lead all HR functions and collaborate closely with the executive team.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR principles and be able to drive strategic initiatives in a lean, selfless, and working organization that thrives in the Private Equity environment.

The role is responsible for overseeing all people functions, including talent sourcing, talent deployment, and organizational development, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be able to analyze the current and future people and skills needs of the organization, develop strategies to meet those needs, and implement effective solutions.

Key Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, supporting multiple HR functions and the employee lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of designing, building, and implementing HR functional programs, policies, tools, and procedures, and driving a shared services/COE model.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR and employment state, local, and Federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with Labor Union environments.
  • Fluency across a range of HR disciplines, including organizational development, leadership and talent development, HR process design, compensation management, HR administration, and diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Education and Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a closely related field is required.
  • Master's degree in HR Management or a closely related field is preferred.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP or similar certifications are highly valued.
