Senior Heavy Equipment Technician
As a Senior Heavy Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving intricate mechanical issues related to heavy-duty vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all operations comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and rectify complex mechanical problems.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor junior mechanics, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on a diverse fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Execute repairs on various systems including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- Preferred ASE Transit Master Certification.
- Technical degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proficient in using diagnostic software and tools.
