Position Overview

The Service Technician role in the Metro Phoenix area involves ensuring our clients receive timely scheduled maintenance and urgent service for commercial warewashing, laundry, and housekeeping applications. This includes the installation and upkeep of automated dispensing systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine scheduled maintenance for a designated customer base.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Assist with collections as necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on commercial dishwashing machines and chemical dispensers for warewashing, laundry, and housekeeping.
  • Install commercial dishwashing machines and chemical dispensing systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service requests.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Educate end-users on chemical systems and equipment.
  • Utilize hand and power tools regularly.
  • Drive safely to customer locations.
  • Execute minor plumbing repairs.
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting.
  • Complete other assigned tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in areas such as warewashing, laundry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC trades.
  • Experience in the commercial chemical sector servicing dish machines and laundry systems is a plus.
  • Flexible availability for on-call duties during evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use smartphones and adapt to new technologies.
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, standing, twisting, and bending.
  • Regular use of hand and power tools.
  • Capability to work with electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read schematics and adhere to safety protocols.

Travel Requirements

Daily travel using a company vehicle is required. A company vehicle, gas card, and maintenance will be provided for business purposes.
