Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Stellar Energy Americas Inc. as a Digital Field Services Project Manager. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of small to medium complex projects from inception to conclusion, under the supervision of the Field Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of project execution from contract signing to customer delivery.
  • Develop and obtain management approval of an execution plan.
  • Prepare and conduct project kick-off meetings.
  • Review and manage fulfillment of contracts.
  • Coordinate reviews and comments on scope of work, contract, specifications, and supplementary client documentation.
  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and update project schedules to ensure milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues that arise during the project life cycle.
  • Ensure client deliverables are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Generate and manage project budgets over the course of the project life cycle.
  • Create and maintain detailed cash flow and man-hours usage to ensure the project stays on budget.
  • Coordinate between internal resources, clients, vendors, sub-contractors, contractors, and technicians throughout execution.
  • Direct fabrication, installation, and start-up issues throughout execution.
  • Verify project quality through oversight of in-process inspections at manufacturing facilities.
  • Manage change orders, building cost requirements, and provide backup documentation.
  • Create reports and projections for various levels within the organization.
  • Complete project closeout, including punch list items, client final acceptance, etc.
  • Responsible for warranty requests by generating and executing a corrective action plan.
  • Manage overall project leadership and decision-making.
  • Manage Contract Handover Checklist.
  • Lead customer interface, communications, and management.
  • Manage budget development and timeline development oversight.
  • Manage project scope.
  • Attend/participate in gate reviews.
  • Manage and coordinate customer communication.
  • Prepare for ISO 9001 and other audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or management-related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in industrial project and/or construction management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and enterprise resource planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in construction, engineering, or management-related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience with or around general contractor construction.
  • 10 years' experience combined in the power, oil & gas, data center, and/or district energy industries.
  • Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
Work Environment

This role will operate in a professional office environment, with occasional exposure to extreme conditions at fabrication shops and job sites. Job safety is a top priority.

Physical Demands

This is a largely sedentary role, with some filing required. The employee must be able to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 10-25 pounds.

Travel

This is a fully remote position, with occasional travel required to headquarters and field sites.
