Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, working closely with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set in project management, including active listening, interpretation, clarification, negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and manage project charters, identify stakeholders, define scope, determine budget, and manage other project requirements.
  • Manage deliverables, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing costs.
  • Plan project schedules and milestones, revising as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Maintain meeting minutes, change logs, and decision requests, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Act on behalf of business interests, regularly escalating to ensure outcomes match overall organization strategies and goals.
  • Develop and monitor specific project measurements for all assigned projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Guide and support project team members, clients, and internal teams to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, PMO department procedures, and communication standards, ensuring consistency and best practices.
  • Maintain files structures and contents to reflect Nymbus project requirements, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.
  • Control and catalogue PMO procedures and templates with direct peers to ensure a comprehensive and evolving PMO process.
  • Utilize varying communication techniques to ensure participant acceptance and understanding in meetings and the overall project process.
  • Prepare status reports, agendas, meeting minutes, and lead project meetings that are flexible and productive in achieving goals and objectives.
  • Communicate relevant information to all stakeholders to ensure they are kept up to date on current project state.
  • Create, manage, and update dashboards for executive teams, providing real-time visibility into project performance.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members, ensuring strong collaboration and trust.
  • Identify, track, and escalate critical issues to minimize project risk factors, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolution.
  • Maintain decision logs, including assumptions, discussions, and decisions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, finance, or related field.
  • Banking or finance experience required, with a minimum of 4 years of PMO experience preferred.
  • Mergers and acquisitions and/or conversion experience preferred, with a strong understanding of agile software development tools and techniques.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Agile certification preferred, with a working knowledge of programming techniques and root cause analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function as a team player and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to research and solve problems with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to achieve desired results.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
