We are seeking candidates for the role of Field Operations Manager to join our team for projects in the Southeast US. The Field Operations Manager will oversee the daily management, guidance, and coordination of all construction activities, including assigned personnel and subcontractors at the job site. The goal is to ensure the safe delivery of high-quality work that meets project specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines, all while aligning with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Preference will be given to candidates local to the project areas, although relocation for on-site management may be necessary.

  • A high school diploma or GED is the minimum educational requirement for this position.
  • Preferred qualifications include college coursework or a degree in construction management, engineering, or related fields.
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of experience in a managerial role within construction (including scheduling, procurement, site supervision, quality assurance, safety, and production across all construction phases) on medium-sized projects, along with four or more years of relevant field or trade experience in the construction industry; experience in government, military, or large commercial projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with the design-build process and large-scale projects is also preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) is required.
  • Experience with specific software tools (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) is advantageous.
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour, as well as EM-385 and STS, are required; training may be provided.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus.
  • LEED GA/AP credentials are desirable.
