Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Supervisor to join our team at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. As an Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates and overseeing the daily operations of a specific area of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by greeting and answering their questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Tour your area to ensure it meets our customer's expectations and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Work hand-in-hand with team associates to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Prepare and plan for upcoming events and promotions that will impact your area, such as sales, inventory, and staffing.
  • Use basic math skills to maintain accurate inventory levels and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
