Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at Primoris. As a Traffic Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our workers, motorists, and pedestrians on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and remove temporary traffic control devices, such as cones, signs, and safety barriers, to divert traffic and ensure a safe work zone.
  • Support project teams as a flagger to create a safe work area and communicate with contractors, coworkers, and supervisors effectively.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and traffic control plans.
  • Manage truck inventory and job site materials and paperwork.
  • Apply concepts, techniques, and implementation of traffic control plans and techniques for installation and removal.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications and implement them in the field.
  • Work together as a team to present solutions and design and implement temporary traffic control plans in the field to make the project as safe as possible.
  • Oversee flaggers to ensure DOT requirements are met.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
