About the Position:

We are seeking an Aortic Clinical Specialist Associate to become a vital part of our team within the Medical Products Division. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the promotion and sales of both established and innovative products across various applications. This position will encompass the regions of Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, with potential travel to neighboring states. The ideal candidate should be based in Denver, Colorado, or nearby areas.

This role allows for remote work from home in most locations within Denver and its surroundings.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Annual salary range of $155,000-$165,000
  • Positions exceeding $150k qualify for a variable pay program each fiscal year, contingent on defined business performance metrics

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support healthcare professionals in patient assessments, case strategizing, and device selection
  • Address and resolve complex case issues
  • Offer technical assistance during clinical EVAR and TEVAR procedures
  • Conduct training sessions for Gore associates, both in-house and in the field
  • Deliver simulation-based training to Surgeons, Nurses, and Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology Fellows
  • Facilitate hospital in-services for Surgeons, Nurses, and Fellows
  • Assist in the creation of training materials for healthcare professionals and associates
Essential Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in nursing, radiation technology, operating room, catheter lab, radiology/cardiology departments, or similar medical device support roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven adaptability to evolving products and project commitments
  • Willingness to support urgent cases in your local area, including being available on-call, which may require working nights and weekends when necessary
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying medical, surgical, and interventional terminology and skills
  • Capability to fulfill the responsibilities of this role at customer locations, including meeting vendor credentialing and hospital access requirements for healthcare professionals, which may involve proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% monthly, with the flexibility to adjust to frequent changes in travel plans (e.g., to assist with emergency clinical cases) and must reside in the Denver, Colorado, or surrounding areas
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in nursing, life sciences, education, or related experience
  • Previous sales experience
This position necessitates ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and adherence to facility-specific access policies, which may include proof of COVID-19 vaccination, vendor credentialing requirements, including drug screening, background checks, immunization, and training.

Remote work arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, subject to appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies.
