Position Summary:
The Clinical Informatics Specialist plays a crucial role in understanding and optimizing healthcare applications utilized within our organization. This position requires a deep analysis of business challenges and the ability to propose solutions that align with our organizational objectives, particularly in maintaining effective clinical and business systems.

The Specialist is dedicated to ensuring a secure and efficient electronic medical record (EMR) system that focuses on enhancing patient outcomes, reducing costs, increasing operational efficiency, and improving user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently on moderately complex projects, identifying ways EMR technology can enhance workflow efficiency.
- Engage in analysis, design, implementation, and optimization of clinical applications while providing application support and troubleshooting.
- Mentor junior team members and customize order sets, documentation, and views within the EMR system.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for clinical applications, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues as they arise.

Collaboration:
- Communicate project updates to leadership across various departments, including clinical informatics and operational teams.
- Actively participate in delivering exceptional customer service, providing on-site support for healthcare providers, and maintaining respectful relationships.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, respiratory therapy, cardiopulmonary science, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of combined clinical and informatics experience.
- Recent experience with health information technology.
- Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse, Allied Health Professional, or Registered Respiratory Therapist in the primary work location.
