Position Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of both direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, which includes Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive nursing care plans. Effectively communicates any alterations in the patient's clinical status to Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and colleagues as necessary. Engages actively in the discharge planning process.Compensation Structure:
Salary is determined based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a current state license as a Registered Nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Detail-oriented with the capacity to meet stringent deadlines.
