Penske Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet or exceed established sales quotas.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of customers' business models and unique challenges.
- Design and implement solutions that meet specific customer needs, and adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of individual customers.
- Take the lead in negotiating and closing deals, and work with the Brokerage team to resolve problems and provide ongoing support to customers.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales to stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with the Brokerage team on pricing decisions, supplier selection, and timing to ensure optimal results.
- Accurately track growth opportunities through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, and analyze Brokerage accounts to determine efficiency and profitability.
- At least 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of generating profitable revenue growth and retaining existing customers.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, with experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent customer service and phone skills.
- Ability to learn new concepts, products, and services, and think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, with a persistent and persuasive approach to sales.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Penske Logistics offers a competitive salary range of $54,300 - $72,000, as well as opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
