About the Role

As a Support Specialist with EMS|MC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our revenue cycle management services. Under the supervision of the Division Manager, you will provide a range of support functions that are essential to our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and distribute daily incoming mail and faxes to the appropriate departments.
  • Log and process incoming daily patient care reports.
  • Prepare and send out insurance claim forms with supporting documentation.
  • Process outgoing mail, including correspondence and Hospital Face Sheets requests.
  • Prepare and fax requests to hospitals for Medical Records Department contact information.
  • Verify and audit payments received, ensuring accuracy and payee details.
  • Prepare and tally cash batches.
  • Pull patient demographic information from hospital connections.
  • Provide cross-training on front desk functions.
  • Perform other duties as required, commensurate with the position.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good computer knowledge, including Excel, Word, Open Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve problems.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
