As an Associate General Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effectiveness of our swim programs by leading and inspiring a high-performing team, organizing and assessing class schedules, and guaranteeing that our facility is prepared for success at every lesson. You will assist new team members and families during their initial experiences at Goldfish and provide ongoing support as they advance in our programs and in life.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the quality and effectiveness of daily operations at Goldfish Swim School, including staffing, pool management, financial operations, customer relations, retail and vending services, private event management, and employee engagement activities.

Your success in this role will be evaluated based on your ability to:

  5. Direct and manage daily operations to ensure compliance with Goldfish Swim School's standard operating procedures
  6. Provide sales and marketing training to staff and maintain alignment with quarterly and annual enrollment targets and any additional success metrics
  7. Develop and execute corrective action plans when quarterly and annual goals are not met
  8. Achieve high proficiency in class bookings, scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks, as well as the Goldfish Swim School curriculum, swim lesson quality standards, and safety protocols
Additional Information:
  • All personnel in our facility are required to be lifeguard CPR & AED certified, so you must be able to swim and pass a basic swim test (50 yards) to obtain your certification. All management team members will also need to acquire their Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
  • You will oversee the execution of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and all safety protocols for the facility.
  • We require availability for some weekday evenings (until 8:30 PM) and at least one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) shift each week, along with the ability to maintain a consistent schedule each week (e.g., every Monday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM).
