  • Customer Engagement: Consult with executives, customers, and other stakeholders to deliver complex cloud development solutions.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Recognized as a subject matter expert in cloud technology.
  • Project Leadership: May serve as a task or project leader and/or people manager.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Must have MS/MBA with 6+ years or BA/BS with 8+ years of relevant experience, including 4-5 years supervisory and project management experience.
  • Software Development Experience: 15+ years of progressive hands-on software development experience.
  • AWS Cloud Engineering Experience: 8+ years of AWS cloud engineering and architecture experience, with a proven track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions.
  • Infrastructure as Code Experience: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as BICEP, Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Containerization and Orchestration Experience: Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like ACS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Cloud-Based Data Platforms Experience: Experience with cloud-based data platforms used for data storage, processing, analysis, and availability, including Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and/or DataBricks.
  • API and Web Services Experience: Experience with APIs and Web Services, such as SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Scripting and Programming Experience: Experience reading and writing files in multiple formats, including CSV, XML, and JSON.
  • Agile/Scrum Experience: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Public Trust Clearance: Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certification: Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional and/or other AWS certification.
  • AWS Migrations Experience: Experience with AWS Migrations within programs at CMS.
  • Government Security Architecture Experience: Knowledge of government security architecture and/or secure coding practices.
  • Client Objectives: Drives client objectives and goals to completion by leveraging strong collaborations across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proof of Concept Experience: Experience providing Proof of Concept trails of new development for evaluation.
  • Quality and Problem-Solving: Passion for quality and solving problems in complex computing environments.
  • Customer Business Requirements: Ability to understand and document customer business requirements.
  • Team Dynamics: Ability to engage and lead discussions and meetings, understanding of team dynamics and working well within a team structure.
  • Organizational and Project Management Skills: Mastery of organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines autonomously and shift priorities as necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Superior written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and professional interactive skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Expectations: Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to make presentations about new strategies, trends in industry, and new functionalities.
